Prosper is the closest of the neighboring towns to our McKinney base, 7.7 miles by road. It is also the one where backyard glamping actually works most often, because the lots out here are big enough for a bell tent without a tape measure and a lot of hope.
What a party costs in Prosper
A teepee sleepover starts at $396 for four guests, which is our minimum, and runs $594 for a Classic party of six, $834 for Glam and $1,134 for Ultimate. A spa party starts at $595 for six guests. A $75 retainer holds your date and is applied to your balance, and the remaining balance is due by 5:00 PM the day before the party.
Delivery is billed separately from McKinney, at $4.80 per mile for sleepovers, glamping and luxe picnics, and $2.40 per mile for spa parties of up to 13 guests.

Where in Prosper we set up
All of 75078, from the Windsong Ranch and Star Trail communities on the west side, through Whitley Place and the older streets near downtown Prosper, out to the newer developments along Frontier Parkway.
The Prosper-specific point worth making is the yard. A 4M bell tent needs a flat area of 21 feet by 21 feet, and the 6M needs 30 feet clear in every direction, which rules out a lot of suburban lots elsewhere in DFW but not usually here. If the tent is going on a deck, patio, pavers or artificial turf we cannot drive stakes, so it is anchored with sandbags instead: $200 for the 4M and $275 for the 6M.
Which party suits a Prosper home
- Backyard glamping. $600 for the 4M bell tent, which sleeps up to four, and $1,250 for the 6M, which sleeps up to ten. Set up, styling, next-day collection and laundering are all included. We check the wind forecast 48 and 24 hours before every glamping date, and if conditions are unsafe you can reschedule at no charge or take a full refund including the retainer.
- Teepee sleepovers. The indoor option, one teepee per guest, four minimum, each needing about 47 by 75 inches of floor.
- Spa parties. Two hostesses for two hours, ground floor only, from facials to manicures with everything cleaned up afterwards.
- Luxe picnics. $295 for the first styled table with a teepee, seating six to eight, and $285 for each additional table. These work well on the larger Prosper lawns.
How far ahead to book a Prosper party
Four to six weeks is comfortable. Glamping dates in spring and autumn go earliest, since that is when the weather cooperates. Personalized robes, pillowcases and sleep masks need extra lead time because they are made with the guests' names. Booking 3 to 7 days out adds a $50 rush fee, 1 to 2 days out adds $100.
