Booking questions, answered
How far in advance should you book a sleepover party?
Four to six weeks ahead is comfortable for most dates, and longer if your party falls on a spring or autumn weekend, when we fill up first. Personalized add-ons such as robes, pillowcases and sleep masks need more lead time because each one is made with the guests' names before your date.
We do take short notice bookings when the schedule allows, with a rush fee: $50 if you book 3 to 7 days before the event, $100 if you book 1 or 2 days before. Booking inside that window does not guarantee that personalized items can be produced in time.
How much is the deposit to book a party?
A $75 retainer holds your date, and it is applied toward your total balance rather than charged on top. Your date is not confirmed until we have received it.
The rest of the balance is due by 5:00 PM on the day before your event, and a balance that arrives after that time carries a $25 late fee. You approve an estimate first, then we email a secure invoice link. We never see or store your card details.
What happens if you need to cancel or move the date?
Cancel more than 30 days before the event and you receive a full refund, including the $75 retainer. Between 5 and 30 days out the retainer is forfeited and everything else is refunded within 5 to 7 business days, and inside 5 days there is no refund.
Moving the date is easier than cancelling. Rescheduling more than 5 days out is free and the retainer transfers, and inside 5 days there is a $50 fee. An event can be rescheduled once. Cancellation requests go in writing to sales@prettyteepees.com, and the date we receive the email is the cancellation date.
Do you deliver to Dallas and Fort Worth?
Yes. We deliver across the Dallas Fort Worth area from our base in McKinney, and the fee is calculated by distance: $4.80 per mile for sleepovers, glamping and luxe picnics, and $2.40 per mile for spa parties of up to 13 guests.
In practice that means about $22 in west McKinney, $37 in Prosper, $48 in Allen, $33 to $72 across Frisco, $62 to $110 across Plano, and roughly $115 to $200 for most Dallas addresses. Enter your ZIP code in the booking form and the exact figure appears in your total. If your ZIP is not on our list we confirm the amount by email, usually the same day.
Can you set up somewhere other than a house?
Teepee sleepovers, spa parties and luxe picnics can be set up at a hotel, an Airbnb, an apartment clubhouse or a community space, with a $100 venue fee added to cover the extra coordination. Spa parties have to be on the ground floor at any venue, without exception.
Glamping is the one that cannot travel. Bell tents go in private backyards only, never at hotels, apartments, event spaces or public parks, because we need ground we can stake into and a space we can secure overnight.
