Spa party and glamping questions, answered
How much does a kids spa party cost in Dallas Fort Worth?
A spa party starts at $595 for six guests and $795 for twelve, with each guest beyond the package at $65. Delivery is added separately at $2.40 per mile from McKinney for parties of up to 13 guests.
Two hostesses are always included and they run the entire two hours, so nothing falls to you. There is a quirk worth knowing at ten guests: the tenth guest moves you onto the twelve-guest package, so the tenth costs five dollars and the eleventh and twelfth cost nothing at all. From 14 guests we send a third hostess in a second vehicle, which adds $150 and raises delivery to $4.80 per mile.
What happens at a kids spa party?
Two hostesses arrive, build a full spa station and run every activity for two hours: facials with a mask, tonic and cucumber, pedicures with a foot bath and polish, manicures, makeup, and a jewelry craft each guest takes home. They set up before, host throughout, and clear everything away afterwards.
Each guest gets a robe and a spa headband, and the guest of honor gets face gems. Sparkling apple cider is served while everyone is being pampered. All of our products are cruelty free and made without added artificial dyes, parabens or sulfates. Guests must arrive with nail polish fully removed, since we do not remove polish during the party.
What age are kids spa parties for?
The minimum age for a spa party guest is four years old, and there is no upper limit. Parties are sized from six to twenty-four guests.
A parent or guardian has to be present throughout. Our hostesses are with the children during the spa activities, but supervision at all other moments during the event, including any child who steps away or goes outside, stays with the family.
How big does a backyard need to be for a glamping party?
A 4M bell tent needs a flat, level area of about 21 feet by 21 feet, which is the 13 foot 5 inch tent base plus 8 feet of clearance in every direction. A 6M tent needs roughly 30 feet in all directions.
The 4M is $600 and sleeps up to four, the 6M is $1,250 and sleeps up to ten. If the tent goes on a deck, concrete, pavers or artificial turf we cannot drive stakes, so it is anchored with sandbags instead: $200 for the 4M and $275 for the 6M. Delivery, setup, styling and next-day collection are included in the tent price.
Can you set up a glamping tent at an apartment, a hotel or a park?
No. Bell tents go in private backyards only, never at apartments or their clubhouses, hotels, event spaces or public outdoor spaces.
The reasons are practical rather than fussy: we need ground we can secure the tent into, and a private space that stays undisturbed overnight. If your party is at one of those locations, an indoor teepee sleepover is the alternative, and it works at any of them with a $100 venue fee.
What happens to a glamping party if the weather turns?
We check the forecast 48 hours and again 24 hours before every glamping event. Staked setups do not proceed above sustained winds of 35 mph or gusts over 45 mph, and sandbagged setups stop at sustained 25 mph or gusts over 35 mph, because sandbags do not hold as firmly as ground stakes.
If we cancel for weather you choose: reschedule at no additional charge, convert to an indoor teepee sleepover with the price adjusted, or take a full refund including the $75 retainer. The same three options apply for heavy rain, storms, ice or snow.
